As the year quickly comes to an end Mrs. Wondolowski prepared a memorable senior day of reflection at the Kearney youth house. Our seniors reflected on unforgettable moments throughout their four years of high school. They also completed numerous group activities to prepare them for their future.

Cultures of Latin America Celebrating Black History Month

In celebrating Black History Month, the Cultures of Latin America class discussed Slavery in Latin America and the influence of Blacks on Latino Culture. The students were each assigned an influential Black Latino: Alfonso Schomberg, Roberto Clemente, Celia Cruz, Chica Da Silva, Dr. José Francisco Peña Gomez, Carlos Moore, and Pedro Albizú Campos; and were asked to create a poster that reflected that individuals life and contributions to society.
